Commercial Real Estate & Investment Experience
Mr. Riegel established Sauvé Riegel
Inc., a commercial real estate consulting, investment and leasing firm
in Pasadena, in 1992 with his partner Norm Sauvé. Mr. Riegel has twenty
years of experience in economics, real estate, development, marketing
and management. He has assisted numerous businesses in procuring
successful locations by providing a broad range of consulting services
to business and property owners to maximize their return on investment.
He has leased retail stores, offices and industrial buildings up to
50,000 square feet and has negotiated leases for restaurants, retailers,
food services, distributors, manufacturers, financial institutions,
pension funds, and nonprofit corporations. Mr. Riegel has represented
developers in negotiations to acquire and develop retail commercial and
business park sites. He has advised investment clients in the
acquisition of business parks, shopping centers, office and industrial
buildings, vacant land and residential units. Mr. Riegel has also
participated in the development and management of several hundred
residential rental units.
Before launching Sauvé Riegel Inc., Mr.
Riegel in conjunction with his partner Norman Sauvé, started the
Commercial Division of The Prudential DB Real Estate as an independently
owned and operated entity. As a specialist in the leasing and sales of
commercial and industrial properties, Mr. Riegel has represented many
tenants, landlords, developers and investors throughout Southern
California.
Previous Experience
Mr. Riegel's previous professional
experience includes service to several "Fortune 500" corporations in
both management and professional positions including: Director of Market
Research, Flow Control Group, Director of Market Planning and Research,
Pacific Valves Unit of Mark Controls Corporation, and Manager of
Advertising and Public Relations, Pacific Valves Unit of Mark Controls
Corporation. Mr. Riegel also worked as Senior Planning Analyst for
Hydril Corporation, and as Manager of Marketing Services for Dresser
Industries, Pacific Pumps Division.
Civic & Professional Activities
Mr. Riegel is a member of the American
Industrial Real Estate Association and the Pasadena - Foothill
Association of Realtors. He has been on the Board of Directors for more
than a decade for Rosemary Children's Services. He is also a member of
the Kiwanis Club of Pasadena and has previously served on the Board of
Directors. He has also formerly been President and Chairman of the
Board of the University of Southern California- MBA Alumni Association.
Education
Mr. Riegel obtained his Master of
Business Administration Degree from the University of Southern
California, in Los Angeles, California. He achieved his Bachelor of
Science in Engineering from the University of Redlands, Redlands,
